• 'Section 17 : INSPECTION DEP :RTH.. 7. There shall be the following named officers and employee . in the inspection Department , to-wit: One (1) liuildinE Inspector, and One (1 ) Electrical Inspector. It shall be the duty of such officers to p rform the duties relating to such office as defined by the Ordinances of such City , and such other duties a.s the Commissioner of Public 'corks shall authorize and direct. Section 18: STREET Dt PA3 '1=ENT. There sha 11 be the following named officers and assist- ants in the Street Depa rtment , to-wit: One (1) Street Superintnedent; One (1) Crusherman; One (1) Transitman ; Seven ( 7) truck drivers; Three (3) Foremen; One (1) Auto Repairman' s r__elper; One (1) Clerk; Two (2) Grader- men; One (1) Purchasing Agen-•;, (part time ) ; One (1) Donkey man; One (1) Yardman; One (1) night watchman; Seventeen (17 ) skilled laborers, and Relief Operator on bridge (limos. ) Said officers, assistants and employees shall perform the duties pertaining to such office as indicated by the name of their respective employments, and such other duties as the Superintendent of Streets or Commissioner of Public `y' orks shall from time to time authorize and determine . Section 19: PARK DEPART11'TT. There shall be in the office of the Park Department the following named officers and assistants , to-wit: One (1 ) Superintendent ; One (1 ) foreman; One (1 ) Assistant foreman; Two (2 ) Gardeners; Seven (7 ) Laborers; One (1) Secretary (part time ) , and One (1) or more seasonal workers (part time ) . The Park Department shall be under the general charge and supervision of the Park Superintendent . The other assist- ants and employees shall perfom such duties as pertain to the nature of their office and as authorized and directed by the Park Superintendent . -5-
