1 "Conduit Pipe 2 In. Diam." shall be measured by the linear foot of the neat line of conduit <br /> 2 between the junction box and the curb line. No additional measurement will be made for <br /> 3 sweeps or elbows in junction boxes or at the curb line. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 GLF 8-20.5.DOCX <br /> 6 8-20.5 Payment <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Section 8-20.5 is supplemented with the following: <br /> 9 <br /> 10 (******) <br /> 11 "Vehicle Loop Detectors," per linear foot. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 The unit contract price shall include saw cutting, cleaning and drying of pavement, <br /> 14 installing loops and home runs, loop lead-in conduits, loop wire, sealant, splice kit and <br /> 15 splicing between loop wire and lead-on cable, any work necessary to access a junction <br /> 16 box and testing of the vehicle detectors as defined in Section 8-20.3(14)D. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 No payment shall be made for any loops that are not spliced and fully operational, <br /> 19 including any loop detector lead in cable required to make the loop operational. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 "Loop Detector Lead-In Cable", per linear foot. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 The unit contract price shall be full pay for furnishing and installing each loop detector <br /> 24 lead-In cable in existing conduits between the traffic signal control cabinet and loop splice <br /> 25 point, including all and all other Work necessary terminate loop lead in cable at either end. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 No payment shall be made for any detector lead-in cable that is not spliced and fully <br /> 28 operational, including any testing required to make the loop operational. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 "Conduit Pipe 2 In. Diam.", per linear foot. <br /> 31 The unit contract price shall be full pay as described in this Section for furnishing and <br /> 32 installing each conduit stub-out where shown in the Plans, including furnishing all conduit, <br /> 33 elbows, bends, and fittings for placing the pipe in accordance with the above provisions, <br /> 34 including all excavation or jacking required, backfilling of any voids around stub out, pits, <br /> 35 or trenches; bedding of the pipe, chipping of pavement, and all other Work necessary for <br /> 36 the construction of the conduit stub-out. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 "Video Detection System ", lump sum. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 The lump sum Contract price for "Video Detection System ", shall be full pay for the <br /> 41 construction of the complete video detection system as described above and as shown <br /> 42 in the Plans, and herein specified, including complete installation of owner furnished <br /> 43 materials to provide a fully functioning video detection system at the location described. <br /> 44 The Contract price shall include restoring facilities destroyed or damaged during <br /> 45 construction, salvaging existing materials, and for making all required tests.All additional <br /> 46 materials and labor, not shown in the Plans or called for herein and which are required to <br /> 47 complete the video detection system, shall be included in the lump sum Contract price. <br /> 48 Removal and salvage of existing materials associated with the construction not shown in <br /> 49 the Plans or called for herein and which are required to complete the video detection <br /> 50 system, shall be included in the lump sum Contract price. <br /> 2023 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE OVERLAY <br /> WO#3789 February 14,2023 76 <br />
