I <br /> 1 <br /> I 2 <br /> 3 DIVISION8.GR8 <br /> 4 Division 8 <br /> 5 Miscellaneous Construction <br /> 6 <br /> 7 CNH 8-09.DOCX <br /> 8 8-09 RAISED PAVEMENT MARKERS <br /> 9 (******) <br /> 10 <br /> 11 8-09.1 Description <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Section 8-09.1 is supplemented with the following: <br /> I 14 <br /> 15 At locations called for in the Appendices to the Special Provisions, the Work shall consist <br /> 16 of installing white and yellow pavement markers between skip lines or on centerline at 40' <br /> 17 centers. Raised pavement markers shall meet the requirements of Section 8-09 and City <br /> 18 of Everett Standard Drawing 720. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 At locations staked by the engineer, the Work shall consist of installing blue pavement <br /> 21 markers at each fire hydrant adjacent to the nearest yellow paint line, on the side of the <br /> 22 line that the hydrant is closest. Where multiple yellow lines exist, such as two way left turn <br /> 23 lane lines or painted islands, only one marker will be installed adjacent to the nearest <br /> 24 yellow paint line. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 8-09.2 Materials <br /> 27 <br /> 28 Section 8-09.2 is supplemented with the following: <br /> 29 <br /> 30 White and yellow Raised Pavement Marker (RPM) Type 2 shall be selected from <br /> 31 approved materials listed in the WSDOT Qualified Products List. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 Blue Raised Pavement Marker (RPM) Type 2 shall be bi-directional blue-blue with <br /> 34 abrasion resistant lens or coating and shall be one of the following: <br /> 35 1. 3M Series 290 Model 295-2B <br /> 36 2. Stimsonite Model 911-AB <br /> 37 <br /> 38 8-09.3 Construction Requirements <br /> 49 <br /> 40 Section 8-09.3 is supplemented with the following: <br /> 41 <br /> 42 8-09.3(5) Asphalt Adhesives <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Section 8-09.3(5) is supplemented with the following: <br /> 45 <br /> 46 Adhesive for blue raised pavement markers on all hot mix asphalt surfaces shall be <br /> 47 bituminous conforming to the requirements of Section 9-02.1(8) and be Crafco <br /> ' 48 #34269 or approved equal, or, shall be Flint Premark Bundy Adhesive #8430055BK <br /> 49 5" by 5" installed per manufacturer's recommendations. <br /> 50 <br /> I <br /> 2023 FEDERAL OVERLAY <br /> FEDERAL AID#STBGUL-2715(011) <br /> WO#3788 March 2,2023 SP-99 <br />
