The <br /> 31 Contracting Agency will review the provided data, check the existing layout and <br /> 32 provide revisions as necessary for establishment of lane widths, arrow and letter <br /> 33 locations, tapers, transitions, other modifications, and pavement seams. The <br /> 34 Contracting Agency will require up to seven calendar days from the date the <br /> 35 data is received to conduct this review. No pavement grinding will be allowed <br /> 36 before this review is complete. The Contractor will make adjustments to the curb <br /> 37 marking and stakes to match the revisions prior to grinding. I <br /> 38 <br /> 39 Based on these records and/or the offset staking, the Contractor shall perform <br /> 40 all field marking and preliminary spotting for all pavement marking and <br /> 41 channelization following grinding operations, for temporary only. The <br /> 42 Contracting Agency shall perform all field marking for permanent pavement <br /> 43 marking and channelization.All calculations, surveying, and measuring required I <br /> 44 for setting and maintaining the necessary lines for the temporary pavement <br /> 45 marking shall be the Contractor's responsibility. <br /> 46 I <br /> 47 Preliminary spotting shall be provided at a spacing of 40 foot maximum on <br /> 48 tangents and 25 foot maximum on curves and tapers.
