This shall include all temporary pavement markings applied to milled 28 surfaces that will be exposed to traffic and all new pavement lifts that will be exposed to 29 traffic. 30 31 8-23.2 Materials 32 33 Section 8-23.2 is supplemented to read as follows: 34 35 (*****) 36 Materials for temporary markings shall be paint or reflectorized aluminum tape, as 37 directed by the Engineer and selected from approved materials listed in the Qualified 38 Products List. 39 40 Temporary paint shall be used on subsurface pavements and may be paved over. Should 41 sudden inclement weather create a pavement too wet to install temporary paint, 42 temporary flexible raised pavement markers shall be installed on 40' intervals as directed 43 by the Engineer. Temporary flexible raised pavement markers shall be selected from 44 approved materials listed in the Qualified Products List. Temporary flexible raised 45 pavement markers shall be nailed to the subsurface pavement and removed prior to 46 paving.
