I
1 1-09.6.RTF I
2 1-09.6 Force Account
3 (October 10, 2008 APWA GSP)
4
I 5 Supplement this section with the following:
6
7 The Contracting Agency has estimated and included in the Proposal, dollar amounts for
I 8 all items to be paid per force account, only to provide a common proposal for Bidders. All
9 such dollar amounts are to become a part of Contractor's total bid. However, the
10 Contracting Agency does not warrant expressly or by implication, that the actual amount
11 of work will correspond with those estimates. Payment will be made on the basis of the
12 amount of work actually authorized by Engineer.
13
14 1-09.9.GR1
I15 Payments
16
17 1-09.9(Payments).RTF
I18 1-09.9 Payments
19 (January 19, 2022 APWA GSP)
20
I21 Section 1-09.9 is revised to read:
22
I 23 The basis of payment will be the actual quantities of Work performed according to the
24 Contract and as specified for payment.
25
I 26 The Contractor shall submit a breakdown of the cost of lump sum bid items at the
27 Preconstruction Conference, to enable the Project Engineer to determine the Work
28 performed on a monthly basis. A breakdown is not required for lump sum items that
I 29 include a basis for incremental payments as part of the respective Specification. Absent
30 a lump sum breakdown, the Project Engineer will make a determination based on
31 information available. The Project Engineer's determination of the cost of work shall be
32 final.
33
34 Progress payments for completed work and material on hand will be based upon
I 35 progress estimates prepared by the Engineer. A progress estimate cutoff date will be
36 established at the preconstruction conference.
37
I 38 The initial progress estimate will be made not later than 30 days after the Contractor
39 commences the work, and successive progress estimates will be made every month
40 thereafter until the Completion Date. Progress estimates made during progress of the
I
41 42 work are tentative, and made only for the purpose of determining progress payments.
The progress estimates are subject to change at any time prior to the calculation of the
43 final payment.
44 I 45 The value of the progress estimate will be the sum of the following:
46 1. Unit Price Items in the Bid Form —the approximate quantity of acceptable units of
47 work completed multiplied by the unit price.
I
2023 FEDERAL OVERLAY
FEDERAL AID#i STBGUL-2715(011)I
WO#13788 March 2,2023 SP-61
