Section 01 11 00 SUMMARY OF WORK <br /> 1.05 WORK SEQUENCE <br /> MA. Work in stages in order to accommodate the Owner's use requirements during <br /> the construction period. Coordinate construction schedule and operations with <br /> the Owner. See Section 01 32 11 for further requirements. <br /> 1.06 PERMITS <br /> A. The Contractor shall be responsible to obtain and pay the cost of any applicable <br /> permits required to do the Work, and such costs shall be included in their Bid. <br /> B. It is anticipated that an electrical permit will be required for the relocation of <br /> electrical conduit associated with the project. A building permit will not be <br /> required for the project. <br /> 1.07 WORK BY OTHERS <br /> A. The Contractor is required to coordinate all their activities with the Owner's <br /> Project Manager, or his/her designee. The Owner may have other construction <br /> projects in progress Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) during the duration <br /> of this project and it is the Contractor's responsibility to assure that adequate <br /> notice is given to the Owner's Project Manager regarding equipment or materials <br /> that may need to be relocated in order to perform the work. The Contractor shall <br /> also work with the Owner to coordinate scheduled activities, deliveries, site <br /> security, and use of areas on site for laydown/staging if any perceived conflicts <br /> were to occur. <br /> 1.08 WORK BY THE OWNER AND SPECIAL INSPECTIONS <br /> A. The Owner shall have the right to access the project site 24/7 and execute work <br /> not included in this Contract and concurrent with the contract period. Contractor <br /> shall cooperate with such Owner sponsored efforts. <br /> B. The Contractor shall coordinate with the Owner in scheduling operations to <br /> minimize conflict with any concurrent construction projects, plant operations and <br /> maintenance activities. <br /> C. The Contractor shall coordinate with the Owner in scheduling and providing <br /> access for special inspections required for the Work. <br /> t1.09 DOCUMENT EXISTING CONDITIONS <br /> A. Prior to commencing the Work, the Contractor shall tour the site with the Owner <br /> to examine and document photographically, with video, and/or in writing the <br /> condition of existing structures, equipment, sidewalks, roadways, and other <br /> existing improvements on or adjacent to the site and work areas. This record <br /> shall serve as a basis for determination of subsequent damage due to the <br /> Contractor's operations and shall be signed by all parties making the tour. The <br /> Contractor shall record existing conditions with a digital camera or video.
