<br /> The unit price for gravel borrow shall include all costs of furnishing, hauling,
<br /> stockpiling, placing, grading, and compacting the material in place.
<br /> Bid Item 17. HMA, CL 1/2 inch PG 64-22
<br /> Measurement for HMA, CL 1/2 inch PG 64-22 shall be by the ton, recorded on
<br /> certified weight tickets for HMA placed within the limits of dimensions
<br /> specified or shown in the Contract Documents, or as otherwise approved by
<br /> the Owner. The measurement and payment limits for measuring this bid item
<br /> shall be actual dimensions taken in the field. No deduction will be made for
<br /> the weight of asphalt binder, blending sand, mineral filler, or other component
<br /> of the mixture.
<br /> The unit Contract Price per TN for"HMA CL. lA inch PD 64-22" shall include
<br /> all Work, labor, materials, equipment, and related work necessary to furnish,
<br /> hand- and machine-place, compact, roll and perform density tests on HMA—
<br /> CL 1/2 inch PG 64-22 pavement in accordance with the Contract Documents
<br /> to replace demolished pavement removed for excavations for installation of
<br /> pipelines and the precast junction vault.
<br /> Miscellaneous HMA used for trench patch, pavement repair, thickened
<br /> edges, extruded and wedge curbing placing and compacting pre-leveling,
<br /> leveling and wearing courses, and feathering pavement is included in this bid
<br /> item with no direct compensation made.
<br /> Furnishing and applying tack coat, prime coat, joint seal, and crack sealing
<br /> asphalt is to be included in this bid item with no direct compensation made.
<br /> All costs for "Anti Stripping Additive" and "Compaction Adjustment" shall be
<br /> included in the unit contract price per ton of the HMA with no direct
<br /> compensation made.
<br /> Bid Item 18. 36-inch Bypass Pipeline
<br /> Per linear foot measurement shall be based on the slope distance from point
<br /> to point. The point of beginning or ending of measurement in any particular
<br /> run of pipe shall be the vertical intersection of the centerline of the pipe
<br /> measured with the centerline of the intersection pipe, or with the beginning or
<br /> ending of any new linear length of couplings contained within the measured
<br /> length.
<br /> The unit Contract Price per linear foot (LF)for"36-inch Bypass Pipeline",
<br /> shall constitute full compensation for all Work, labor, materials, tools, and
<br /> equipment necessary to furnish and install the pipe as shown on the
<br /> Drawings and as required by the Specifications, including all fittings and
<br /> appurtenances (e.g., couplings and flexible connectors) required for a
<br /> complete installation of the pipe as shown on the Drawings and specified
<br /> herein, and additionally, shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
<br /> 1. Removal of obstructions not specifically covered under other Bid
<br /> Items. This shall include, but not be limited to, removal and disposal of
<br /> the existing asphalt concrete pavement, sidewalk, curb, thrust blocks,
<br /> miscellaneous landscaping, and sod to facilitate installation as shown
<br /> on the Drawings.
