No extra payment shall be made for <br /> removing, loading, hauling, and disposing of displaced and unsuitable <br /> material. The cost of furnishing, placing, and compacting pipe bedding <br /> and imported trench backfill are included under Bid Items for"Crushed <br /> Surfacing Base Course" and "Gravel Borrow". <br /> 4. Connecting the bypass pipeline to Diversion Structure 2 and the new <br /> precast junction vault. <br /> 5. Steel sheeting for covering open excavations left overnight to protect <br /> Owner staff from injury and property damage. <br /> 6. Protection, restoration, and repair of existing utilities, structures, <br /> equipment, and features that are to remain. , <br /> 7. Ethafoam pads or sand backfill, as necessary, to maintain separation <br /> between the 36-inch bypass pipeline and other pipes. <br /> 8. Extra depth, including excavation, backfill and compaction required to <br /> clear known buried utilities or other known obstacles. <br /> 9. Furnishing and installing warning tape over the 36-inch bypass pipe. <br /> Work required to avoid unexpected or unforeseen utilities shall be paid for <br /> under the Bid Item "Resolution of Utility Conflicts. The costs for potholing and <br /> excavation required to determine exact depths and locations of other utilities <br /> shall be included with this Work with no direct compensation made. <br /> Bid Item 19. 10-inch Tank Drain Pipeline <br /> Per linear foot measurement shall be based on the slope distance from point I <br /> to point. The point of beginning or ending of measurement in any particular <br /> run of pipe shall be the vertical intersection of the centerline of the pipe <br /> measured with the centerline of the intersection pipe, or with the beginning or <br /> ending of any new linear length of couplings contained within the measured <br /> length. <br /> The unit Contract Price per LF for "10-inch Tank Drain Pipeline", shall I <br /> constitute full compensation for all Work, labor, materials, tools, and <br /> equipment necessary to furnish and install the pipe as shown on the <br /> Drawings and as required by the Specifications, including all fittings and I <br /> appurtenances (e.g., couplings) required for a complete installation of the <br /> pipe as shown on the Drawings and specified herein, and additionally, shall <br /> include, but not be limited to, the following: <br /> 1. Removal of obstructions not specifically covered under other Bid <br /> Items.
