I <br /> Section 00 11 13 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> Mandatory Pre-bid meetings are scheduled on February 23, 2023 at 2:00 pm and February <br /> 28, 2023 at 11:00 am on site at 4027 4th Street SE, Everett, WA 98201. All interested bidders <br /> must attend at least one of these scheduled pre-bid meetings. See Section 00 25 13 for more <br /> information. Any questions and/or answers that may affect the bid will be included in an <br /> addendum to the bid documents and sent to all the plan holders. <br /> Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders <br /> List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and <br /> clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of Everett". This online plan room <br /> provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view, print, <br /> order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take- <br /> off tool. It is recommended that Bidders "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail <br /> notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders List". <br /> Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to <br /> periodically check the online plan room for addenda issued on this project. I <br /> All bids must be made upon the regular forms provided for this purpose and must be <br /> accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5°/0) of <br /> the total amount of the Bid. One hundred percent (100%) Payment and Performance Bonds will <br /> be required of the successful bidder to guarantee faithful performance of the contract. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or I <br /> informalities. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof. The City <br /> further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City.
