Trenching, excavation, shoring, groundwater control, piping, fittings,
couplings, flexible connectors, bedding, backfill, and compaction for
installation of a new 36-inch bypass pipeline and precast concrete
junction vault.
iii. Temporary erosion and sediment control measures.
iv. Bypass pumping during installation of the new 36-inch bypass
pipeline, precast concrete junction vault, and associated slide
gates.
v. Asphalt paving removal and replacement associated with
excavation for the pipeline and precast vault.
vi. Demolition of a section of the existing 48-inch aerated lagoon
effluent (ALE) pipeline downstream of the Recirculation/Bypass
Flow Control Structure to allow installation of the new precast
concrete junction vault.
vii. Connection of the new precast concrete junction vault to the
existing 48 inch ALE pipeline upstream and downstream of the
I vault.
viii. Coring a 42-inch diameter hole and installing a slide gate in existing
concrete Diversion Structure 2 for connection and isolation of the
new 36-inch bypass pipeline.
ix. Installing a slide gate in the eastern compartment of the
Recirculation/Bypass Flow Control Structure for isolation of the 48-
inch ALE pipeline from Diversion Structure 2.
x.
