The roof <br /> plan on sheet A2.2 has been revised to include specs for roof venting at areas where over-framing <br /> occurs. <br /> b. The calculation is based on a 1/300 ratio. The building does not qualify for the exception. A ratio of <br /> 1/150 should be used. <br /> Calculations and the roof plan on sheet A2.2 have been revised accordingly. <br /> 2. Attic access should be provided for the north addition per Section R807. <br /> Sheet A2.1 has the location of the attic access called out and meets the minimum requirements of R807. <br /> 3. The crawispace under each addition is required to provide access opening with a minimum size according to <br /> Section R408.4. <br /> Crawlspace access location and framing are shown on sheets A2.0 and A2.1. Access meets the requirements <br /> of R408.4 <br /> 4. Smoke and CO alarms should be shown per Sections R314 and R315. <br /> Locations and specifications were included on the previous plans. Please reference sheet A2.1 for detector <br /> locations and the sheet's general notes for spec information. <br /> 5. The should specify and exhaust fan including the min.required performance rates per Table M1505.4.4(1). <br /> Sheet A2.1 has been revised to include this information. Please see Ventilation notes. <br /> 6. Detail 6/A4.0 appears to provide a 1-inch air gap. The detail should clearly specify an eave baffle extending <br /> above the insulation. <br /> This note has been added to the referenced detail. <br /> Structural Comments: <br /> 1. A general fastener schedule should be provided. <br /> Please see sheets S1.0 and S2.0 for fastener information. <br /> 2. The wood joist ledgers in sections 1 and 3 of A4.0 appear to be located less than 18 inches above the grade <br /> below. The minimum clearance should be provided of pressure-treated lumber should be specified. <br /> The reference drawings have been revised to maintain a minimum 18" of clearance. <br /> 2 15 <br />
