6 0 <br />8. The proposed project appears to include modifications to the north exterior wall to install a window <br />for the Master Bathroom. Structural details complying with the prescriptive requirements of the IRC <br />should be included. See IRC Chapter 6. Note that the exterior wall appears to be a load -bearing wall. <br />9. Continuing with the previous comment, the required thermal rating for the window should be <br />specified per WSEC Table R402.1.1. <br />10. The floor plans indicate three skylights over the northern bathrooms. Per aerial photography of the <br />house, all three of the skylights should be approximately square. However, the plans show that the <br />southern -most of the three is rectangular (oriented in the east -west direction). It appears that the <br />skylight is being modified, or is drawn incorrectly. If the former, it is anticipated that structural <br />modifications to the ceiling and roof framing are required. Structural details complying with IRC <br />Chapter 8 should be provided. <br />Review of your project will be performed in the order received once the required documentation has been <br />submitted.
