• Section 17: STREET DFPART'- NT: There shall be the following named officers and assist- ants in the Street Department , to-dt : One (1) Street Superintendent; One (1) Crusherman; One (1) Transit man; Seven ( 7 ) Truck Drivers; Three (3) Foremen; , One (1) tiuto Repairman' s Helper; One ( 1) Clerk; Two ( 2) Truck Driver 's Helpers; Two (2) Gradermen; One (1) Purchasing Agent (part time) One (1) -'onkey man; One (1) yard man; One ` 1) Painter ; One (1) Night watchman and common Laborers (4342.22 days) . Said officers, assistants and employees shall perform the duties pertaining to such office as indicated by the name of their respective employments, and such other duties as the Superintendent of Streets or Commissioner of Public Works shall, from tine to time , au t -orize and determine . Section 18: PARK DEPARTMENT: There shall be in the office of the Park Department the following named officers, to-wit: One (1) Superintendent ; One (1) Assistant Superintendent One (1 Foreman; Two (2) Gardeners; Six ( 6) Laborers; One (1) Apprentice and One ( 1) Secretary. The Park Department shall be under the general charge and supervision of the Park Superintendent . The other employees shall perform such duties as pertain to the nature of their office and as authorized and directed by the Park Superintendent .
