Obtain written approval from the Client to submit for building permit. <br /> <br />Permitting (Hourly with Estimate) Estimated Time Duration: 6-8 Weeks <br /> <br />In the Bidding Phase, the Design Team, following Client’s approval of the 100% <br />Construction Documents, will prepare drawings and specifications with necessary <br />documents for bidding purposes. Mackenzie will work with Client and selected GC/CM <br />to develop Divisions 00 and Divisions 01, General Conditions, and coordinate the bid <br />advertisement. Mackenzie’s involvement in the permitting of the project includes <br />submitting for and resolving plan review by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), <br />which includes the following permits and respective plan review: <br /> <br />1. Building Permit: <br />A. Building Plan Review. <br />B. Fire/Life Safety Plan Review. <br />C. Scope and Fee assumes three (3) rounds of permit review comments. <br /> <br />Bid Assistance (Hourly with Estimate) Estimated Time Duration: 4-6 Weeks <br /> <br />Mackenzie will assist Client in obtaining competitive bids for the construction of the <br />work as follows: <br /> <br />1. Creating and coordinating Divisions 00 and 01 specifications for the project <br />(instruction to bidders, bid forms, general conditions). <br /> <br />2. Issue bid documents consisting of bidding requirements, proposed contract forms, <br />general conditions, supplementary conditions, drawings, and specifications to General <br />Contractor for bidding. <br /> <br />3. Consider up to ten (10) Substitution Requests, properly submitted as allowed by the <br />Contract Documents, and include any approved Substitution Requests in addenda. <br /> <br />4. Organize, prepare agenda, and attend pre-bid meeting at project site. <br /> <br />5. Prepare Pre-Bid meeting minutes and issue to attendees. <br /> <br />6. Respond to written questions from General Contractor during the bid period, via <br />addenda as appropriate, to address clarifications to bid documents prepared by Mackenzie <br />and/or our consultants. <br /> <br />Construction Contract Administration (Hourly with Estimate ) Estimated Time <br />Duration: 15 Months <br /> <br />In the Construction Contract Administration Phase, the Design Team will provide those <br />services necessary for the administration of the construction contract as set forth in the
