Task 4 – 10% Design (Supplemented) <br /> <br />The CONSULTANT will prepare a 10% traffic signal design exhibit / sketch for <br />discussion with the City. The consultant will discuss material lead-time, supply <br />chain risks, and unit prices. <br /> <br />Deliverables: <br />• 10% traffic signal design Exhibit/Sketch <br />• 10% traffic signal Engineer’s Estimates <br /> <br />Task 5 – 60% Design (Supplemented) <br /> <br /> <br />The CONSULTANT will prepare 60% complete design plans in AutoCAD format <br />following City of Everett’s standard plan preparation formats. The CONSULTANT <br />will prepare plans for the following: <br /> <br />• At 79TH Pl and Evergreen Way: <br />o Remove and relocate two Traffic Signal junction boxes, including the <br />signal home run box. The signal cabinet will remain. <br />o Install loops on side streets, video detection on Evergreen. <br />o Install APS pushbutton and posts as needed to meet ADA requirements. <br /> <br />The 60% design includes the following plan sheets: <br />1. Cover w/ Legend and Notes Survey and alignment (BY City of Everett) <br />2. Legend and Notes, Demolition & Site preparation (BY City of Everett) <br />3. Intersection layout (BY City of Everett) <br />4. Curb ramp details (BY City of Everett) <br />5. Traffic Controller Boxes (BY CONSULTANT) <br />6. Signal Detection Plan (BY CONSULTANT) <br />7. Signal Phasing and Wire Schedule (BY CONSULTANT) <br />8. Signal Details (BY Consultant) <br />9. Total Number of Sheets is 10 (5 by consultant and 5 by City) <br /> <br />Work Elements: <br />• Coordination with the City, including preparing design exhibits for <br />coordination meetings. <br /> <br />Deliverables: <br />• 60% Plans, Traffic signal and ITS Specifications only for insertion into <br />City’s master package & Estimate in electronic format (native and PDF <br />format) <br />• 10% comment and resolution documentation <br /> <br /> <br />
