City of Everett Water Treatment Plant Portal 4 Improvements I Amendment 2 Scope of Work <br />Task Assumptions <br />• PM meetings will be by conducted virtually and will occur bi-weekly with a duration of <br />approximately 30 minutes. <br />Meetings <br />• Biweekly PM calls for the duration of project. <br />Work Products <br />• Monthly progress reports and invoices. <br />• Submittal of updated project logs as needed to support key activities and decisions (risk register, <br />action/issue/decision logs). <br />Phase 700 Vault Design and Services During Construction <br />Activities/Approach: Develop design drawings and specifications for the construction of an access <br />vault on the Portal 3 and Portal 5 intertie pipeline. This work includes the following activities: <br />• Review 1997 Portal 3 and Portal 5 intertie design documents. <br />• Develop design drawings showing plan, section, and details for the installation of a new valve <br />vault on the Portal 3 and Portal 5 intertie pipeline. The vault will provide access to two ports <br />installed along the crown of the 54-inch diameter pipeline. The ports are assumed to be installed <br />approximately 8 feet apart. BC will design a single vault structure spanning the two ports. The <br />design will include a ladder and non -traffic rated entry ways and covers. The anticipated list of <br />drawings includes the following sheets: <br />o (1) Intertie vault plan <br />o (1) Intertie vault sections <br />o (1) Intertie vault details <br />• Develop valve vault specifications. Design documents will reference the Portal 4 Improvements <br />conformed specification set or specify materials on drawings whenever possible. The anticipated <br />list of specifications includes the following: <br />O 03 48 11 Precast Concrete Vaults <br />O 05 53 10 Ladders <br />O 05 59 00 Hatches <br />• Conduct internal design document QAQC. <br />• Address City review comments. <br />• Finalize and seal drawings for delivery. <br />• Coordinate submittal and RFI communication. <br />• Review project submittals during construction. <br />• Respond to technical RFIs during construction. <br />Everett Responsibilities <br />• Provide design documents from the 1997 construction of the Portal 3 and Portal 5 intertie <br />pipeline. <br />• Review and provide comment on draft design documents. <br />• Provide site photos as needed. <br />• Coordinate City or Contractor provided certified survey elevations of the pipeline crown and <br />grade. <br />Page 2 of 7 <br />
