the Heater for the First Time <br />Bum Me heater at a high setting with the blower off for an extended period (up to 48 hours). This will <br />cure the painted surfaces. Fumes from the paint curing and oil burning off the steel will occur. This <br />is normal. We recommend opening a window to vent the room. <br />Condensation may appear on the glass each time you start the heater- this is normal. <br />Blue Flames will occur on the heater when it first comes on. After fifteen minutes Me flames will turn <br />a more realistic yellow and orange color. <br />Verify the batteries are installed (see page En orl Bookmark not defined.). <br />Location of Controls <br />Most features will be <br />controlled by the <br />included remote. <br />10 � <br />Direct Operation <br />The fireplace may be directly operated from the battery holder (accessed by removing the face). The three <br />positions are below (see Figure a): <br />ON fall the way IeftF- Burner turns on (regardless of transmitter settings). <br />OFF (all the way riahfl —Burner turns off (regardless of transmitter settings). <br />REMOTE (middle Position) — Burner is controlled by the transmitter. <br />M <br />4aa�s <br />t <br />e <br />Figures <br />NOTE: When Me battery holder switch is turned to ON or OFF, Me mode settings (Flame Height, Comfort <br />Control) will remain in Me same stale as before the switch was moved (i.e.: the IFC "remembers' Me last <br />setting).
