City of Everett 01 57 00 - 8 <br /> Inductive Charging Infrastructure for Everett Transit <br /> G. Temporary erosion control, temporary sedimentation control, and temporary water <br /> pollution control shall be the Contractor's responsibility. Costs for temporary erosion <br /> control, for temporary sedimentation control, and for temporary water pollution control <br /> work will be considered incidental to the Work and such costs shall be included in the <br /> Bid item prices for the various Bid items of Work listed in the Bid Form, unless a specific <br /> Bid item for temporary erosion/pollution/sedimentation control work is included in the Bid <br /> Form. <br /> 1.13 DEWATERING <br /> A. The Contractor shall operate and maintain all pumps, tanks and other equipment <br /> necessary for the environmentally safe removal and disposal of water from the various <br /> parts of the work. The method proposed by the Contractor for removal of water from <br /> excavations shall be subject to the approval of the Owner. The Owner has the right and <br /> authority to disapprove any method proposed for discharge of water from excavations. <br /> B. When discharge of water from the site is subject to approval of any Federal, State or <br /> local agency, the Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining such approval before <br /> commencing any pumping or de-watering operation. <br /> 1.14 LIABILITY AND PAYMENT <br /> A. The Contractor shall be liable for the payment of all fines and penalties resulting from <br /> failure to comply with the Federal, State and local pollution control regulations even <br /> though the Owner is on the job at the time of the violation. <br /> B. Except as may be otherwise provided for in the Contract, costs pertaining to the <br /> prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public natural resources as <br /> outlined in the Contract shall be considered as incidental to the Work and such costs <br /> shall be included in the Lump Sum Bid item price for the Work comprise in the Contract. <br /> PART 2 - PRODUCTS (Not Used) <br /> PART 3 - EXECUTION (Not Used) <br /> END OF SECTION 01 57 00 <br /> 01 57 00 - 8 TEMPORARY CONTROLS <br />
