Equipment support elements, including for piping, ductwork, and equipment. <br /> D. Construction Elements, Assemblies, and Operational Systems: <br /> 1. Cut and patch in manner so as to not reduce capacity and functional integrity <br /> affecting ability to perform as intended, increase maintenance, decrease function <br /> and longevity, and adversely affect health and safety. <br /> 2. Plan and engineer cutting and patching, including for following. <br /> a. Building enclosure and finish systems. <br /> b. Air, water, moisture, and vapor barriers. <br /> c. Roofing and waterproofing membranes and fleshings. <br /> d. Fire and smoke barriers. <br /> e. Operating elements and equipment. <br /> f. Conveying systems. <br /> g. Acoustical noise and vibration control elements and systems. <br /> h. Fire protection and alarm systems. <br /> i. HVAC systems. <br /> j. Electrical power and lighting systems. <br /> k. Communication systems. <br /> 1.7 WARRANTIES <br /> A. Existing Warranties: Conduct cutting and patching to replace, patch, and repair materials <br /> and surfaces in conformance to manufacturer instructions and provisions as required to <br /> maintain or extend existing warranties. <br /> PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> 2.1 REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. Conform to provisions of Regulatory Requirements specified Section 01 41 00. <br /> B. Fire Resistive Construction: Conform to IBC Chapter 7 and provisions of Section 07 84 <br /> 13. <br /> F <br /> 2.2 MATERIALS <br /> A. Use new products, except where salvaged material is specified. <br /> B. For exposed surfaces, use materials that visually match existing adjacent surfaces and <br /> original installation, identical in color, pattern, and physical characteristics. <br /> C.
