City of Everett 32 12 16 - 1 <br /> Inductive Charging Infrastructure for Everett Transit <br /> SECTION 32 12 16 -ASPHALT PAVING <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> 1.1 DESCRIPTION <br /> A. This section includes requirements for providing and placing Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) on <br /> a prepared base in accordance with lines, grades, pavement section thickness, and <br /> typical cross-sections shown on the Contract Drawings. <br /> 1.2 STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS <br /> A. All work to be performed and materials to be used shall be in accordance with the latest <br /> version of the Standard Specifications and Standard Plans for Road, Bridge and <br /> Municipal Construction, as published by the Washington State Department of <br /> Transportation (WSDOT), unless otherwise indicated herein. <br /> B. The Contractor shall have one copy of the Standard Specifications and Standard Plans <br /> at the job site. <br /> C. The Standard Specifications apply only to performance and materials and how they are <br /> to be incorporated into the work. The legal/contractual relationship sections, and the <br /> measurement and payment sections do not apply to this document. <br /> 1.3 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Submit the following: <br /> 1. Mix Design: Comply with WSDOT Standard Specifications Section 5-04.2. <br /> B. Transmit the following: <br /> 1. Test Reports: Provide test results of sampling and testing, inspection records within <br /> 24 hours of asphalt concrete placement. <br /> PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> 2.1 MATERIALS <br /> A. AGGREGATES FOR HOT MIX ASPHALT <br /> 1. Aggregates for HMA pavement shall comply with WSDOT Standard Specifications <br /> Section 9-03.8. <br /> B. TACK COAT <br /> 1. Tack coat shall by ASTM D977 emulsified asphalt or ASTM D 2397 cationic emulsified <br /> asphalt, slow setting, diluted with water at a rate not to exceed one part water to one <br /> part emulsified asphalt, of suitable grade and consistency for application. <br /> 32 12 16 - 1 ASPHALT PAVING <br />
