SECTION 01 33 00 <br /> SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES -GCCM <br /> PART 1 —GENERAL <br /> 1.1 SUMMARY <br /> • <br /> A. This Section specifies general administrative and procedural requirements for submittals <br /> required by the Contract Documents and a contract administration submittal timeline. <br /> B. Forms referenced in this Section include (see Appendix A): <br /> 1. Electronic Data Release <br /> 1.2 SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES <br /> A. The Owner will encourage the use of an internet-based construction management <br /> system (CMS) for communications and documents controls with the Contractor and <br /> Architect on this Project. The Owner does not have a system in place but will work with <br /> the Contractor and Architect to establish a system that will be beneficial to the team. <br /> 1. The electronic submittal process will not be used for color samples, color charts, <br /> material samples or mock-ups. <br /> B. Coordination: Prior to submitting for Architect review, Contractor shall review submittals <br /> for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with the Contract Documents, and shall <br /> coordinate the transmittal of submittals to ensure there is no delay in the construction <br /> Progress Schedule. Submittal sequencing should coincide with the Contractor's Submittal <br /> Schedule. <br /> 1. Allow fourteen (14) calendar days turnaround for each submittal, from time of receipt <br /> by the Architect. For complex submittals or submittals requiring coordination with <br /> subsequent submittals, plan additional turnaround time. <br /> a. Provide a "Priority List" when submitting several submittals within a short time. <br /> 2. Architect reserves the right to withhold action on a submittal requiring coordination <br /> with other submittals until related submittals are received. <br /> 3. Submittals received from sources other than Contractor will be returned without action. <br /> C. Submittal Preparation: Contractor shall place a label on each submittal for processing. <br /> Include the following information on the label: <br /> 1. Date. <br /> 2. Owner's Project name. <br /> 3. Name of Contractor and submittal number. <br /> 4. Name of the entity that prepared the submittal. <br /> 5.
