The Second Floor Slab Plan on Sheet A-2.3a includes an exterior terrace with primary and <br /> secondary drainage. See IBC Sections 107.2.1 and 1503.4.1. The following comments shall be <br /> addressed: <br /> a. Details for the drainage system shall be included in the construction drawings. <br /> Documentation shall be submitted substantiating that the drains have adequate capacity to <br /> comply with UPC-15 Section 1101.12.1. The system shall comply with UPC-15 Section <br /> 1101.12.2.2. <br /> b. The slope(s) for the topping slab shall be specified. <br /> 4. The Roof Plan on Sheet A-2.6 appears intended to slope towards interior drains. The system <br /> shall include primary and secondary drains. Details for the drainage system shall be included in <br /> the construction drawings. Documentation shall be submitted substantiating that the drains <br /> have adequate capacity to comply with UPC-15 Section 1101.12.1. The system shall comply <br /> with UPC-15 Section 1101.12.2.2. See IBC Sections 107.2.1 and 1503.4.1. <br /> 5. The Roof Plan on Sheet A-2.6 does not include the roof for the penthouse. A partial plan shall <br /> be included showing the construction of the roof. The roof plan shall include features such as <br /> the roofing, slope(s), parapets, and drainage system. See IBC Section 107.2.1. <br /> Structural <br /> General: <br /> 1. The structural submittal documents are generally not sufficient for a complete review to be <br /> performed at this time. The structural drawings contain multiple in consistencies and omissions <br /> such that the intended construction is not clear. The structural calculations are incomplete. <br /> Review comments have been provided to assist the engineer-of-record (EOR) in revising the <br /> structural documents. Additional comments may be provided pending a review of the revised <br /> submittal documents. See IBC Sections 107.2.1, 1603.1, and 1604.1. <br /> 2. Section 01004"Geotechnical Investigation"of the Structural Notes on Sheet A2.01 lists the <br /> geotechnical design parameters from the project. The engineering report and the design values <br /> have not been specified. The notes shall be revised. See IBC Sections 107.2.1 and 1603.1.6. <br /> 3. Section 01005 "Required Submittal Procedures"includes the list of deferred submittals. See IBC <br /> Sections 107.2.1, 107.3.4, 107.3.4.1, and 107.4. The following comments shall be addressed: <br /> a. The note shall include a statement requiring the engineer-of-record to review the deferred <br /> submittals and verify conformance with the construction documents. <br /> b. The list includes ground improvements and prefabricated steel plate wood trusses. These <br /> items does not appear to be included in the project scope and shall be removed. <br /> c. The project includes an elevator system. Design drawings for the elevator shall be included <br /> in the list. <br /> d.
