If
we go 50+we need more stuff like exit signs, emergency egress lighting, panic hardware on more doors and, of course
a maximum occupancy load sign.
A note regarding a `maximum occupant load 49 persons' sign has been added to the L100
room.
That's it from me. Call or email to let me know if you want me to red-line our plan sets or what. Thanks,Tony
REVISION
Sorry about this second email.A new code section was added for the 2015 cycle that I wasn't aware of when I checked
the plans the first time. It is in reaction to children falling out of windows—It looks like it affects this project:
'The sill height of all exterior-opening windows (that don't front on a deck/balcony) should be shown to be a
minimum of 36"A.F.F. or specified to comply with ASTM F2090. Section 1015.8'
We have added a note to clarify our approach, which is to provide those windows lower than 36" AFF with
limiters (less than 4" diameter opening) per 1015.8 exception 2.
Thanks again,Tony
Tony Lee
Building Official I Permit Services
425.257.8812 13200 Cedar Street, 2nd Floor, Everett,WA 98201
Hours: M/W/Th/F: 7:30am-12:O0pm & 1:00pm-3:00pm;Tu: 1:0Opm-3:O0pm
everettwa.gov I Facebook I Twitter
Note:Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to the Public
Records Act.
