MNW has priced this Budgetary Proposal to <br /> reflect same day closure of vertical face cuts. <br /> MNW will require a setup and laydown area near our work zone. This area will need to be accessible for <br /> fueling equipment and material movement. Additionally, MNW will require that a local fire hydrant be <br /> metered by others to provide a water supply to our grout plant. MNW anticipates a total duration of approx. <br /> 8 weeks to construct the shoring provided there are no interruptions of work. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> MNW will provide supervision, labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete items of work as <br /> specifically described below. This work is based on continuous uninterrupted work,working one(8) hour <br /> shift, (5) days per week with one mobilization. <br /> Mobilization—MNW will mobilize labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete our scope of work. <br /> At the completion of our work,we will promptly remove all of our equipment and any remaining <br /> construction materials from the project site. <br /> Vertical Elements—MNW will provide and install 16 each W10x19 vertical element beams into 30" diameter <br /> shafts filled with lean mix for underpinning operations and 2 each W19x19 vertical elements in 18"shafts for <br /> utility support. MNW has included cost for 3/4"x6"x12" pile caps plus 2" of non-shrink grout for underpin <br /> piles. We have included costs for the installation of%z"x 3"welded studs. <br /> Soil Nail Installation-MNW will install 292 each temporary soil nails in locations as indicated in the project <br /> plans. Anchors will be drilled approx.6" in diameter and grouted up with neat cement. We anticipate 5,100 <br /> LF of total drilling of soil nails. Anchors will be tested in accordance with the project plans and specifications. <br /> Corner Brace Installation—MNW will provide and install 1 each 6" DIA.XS pipe brace with plates and <br /> stiffeners in accordance with the project documents. <br /> Shotcrete Wall-MNW will provide and place approx. 7,500 SF of 4,000 psi temporary shotcrete wall. The <br /> temporary shotcrete wall will be 4" in thickness. We have included costs for up to an additional 4"to allow <br /> for over excavation and shotcrete rebound. Shotcrete used in excess of 185 CY(7,500 SF x 8")will be <br /> invoiced at a rate of$235/CY. Also, we have included costs associated with steel reinforcement and drain <br /> board. PVC weep drains will be installed approx. 12' o.c. at the base of the excavation. Weep drains to be <br /> hooked up by others to a permanent collection system. <br /> BUDGETARY PROPOSAL PRICING <br /> For the scope of work described above please consider a Budgetary Price of$524,250(five-hundred twenty- <br /> four thousand two hundred fifty dollars)excluding local and state sales tax.
