• <br /> Section 2: That Section 2 of Ordinance ao. 2730 <br /> of the City of Everett be , and the sane is hereby amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> Section 2: Meat Shop and Delicatessen Store License. <br /> (a) It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corpora- <br /> tion to open tp, conduct, manage , operate or maintain a meat <br /> shop or delicatessen store without first having obtained a license <br /> therefor. All licenses shall be posted and displayed in a <br /> conspicuous place in said shop or store. <br /> (b) Any person desiring to obtain a Meat Shop or Delicatessen <br /> Store license shall make application to the Health Officer of the <br /> City of Everett, on a form to be provided by him, setting forth <br /> the name of the applicant , the location by street and number of <br /> the premises to be so occupied, and the maximum number of meat <br /> salesmen to be employed or to operate as such therein. Upon the <br /> filing of such application the sarrae shall be referred to the Meat <br /> Inspector who shall inspect the premises therein described and <br /> the fixtures and equipment to be used therein. If the said <br /> premises, fixtures and equipment comply with the requirements <br /> of this ordinance , and with all rules and regulations of the <br /> City of Everett relating to the public health and sanitation, <br /> said Meat Inspector shall so certify, and upon payment of the <br /> required license fee , small thereupon issue such license . in <br /> the event the same do not so comply, the Meat Inspector shall <br /> thereupon reject such application. <br /> (c) Every Meat Shop license snail authorize the person, <br /> firm or corporation therein named to conduct and operate a <br /> wholesale or- retail meat shop, or a shop for the manufacture <br /> of meat products , including the right to manufacture or sell <br /> cured meats in and upon the premises described in said license, <br /> and to sell inspected meats until the 31st day of December, <br /> next following the issuance of such license, unless sooner <br /> revoked for cause, and shall be non-transferable. <br /> (d) Every 'Delicatessen Store license shall authorize the <br /> person, firm or corporation therein named to conduct and <br /> operate a delicatessen store for the sale of cured meats in <br /> and upon the premises described in said license, and to sell <br /> said meats until the 31st day of December, next following the <br /> issuance of such license , unless sooner revoked for cause , <br /> and shall be non-transferable. <br /> be <br /> (e) The fee for any meat shop license shall/and/and the same <br /> is hereby fixed at the sum of Twenty-five Dollars 025.00) <br /> per annum; provided that if one person, . firm or corporation <br /> is operating in one place of business a wholesale and retail <br /> shop and/or a shop for the manufacture of meat products, or any <br /> two of them, only one license fee shall be paid. <br /> (f) The fee for any delicatessen store license shall be <br /> and the same is hereby fixed at the sum of `_Ten , and no/100 <br /> Jolla,rs 010 .00) per annum <br />
