July 12, 2023 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />• Alan Macias, Waits motel property acquisition <br />• Echan Lee, Waits motel property acquisition <br />• Keil Shepherd, Waits motel property acquisition <br />• Jeramy Olson, Evergreen Middle School lawsuit/school safety <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Council comments and liaison reports were provided by council members. <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Vogeli, seconded by Council Member Fosse, to adopt a resolution in <br />support of the Arlington LGBTQIA+ community. <br /> <br />After considerable discussion ensued regarding adopting the proposed resolution, it was decided <br />to schedule a remote special meeting either on Friday or Monday to act on an updated proposed <br />resolution or to make a proclamation. <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Fosse, seconded by Council Member Vogeli, to table the proposed <br />resolution. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson provided updates on the inductive charger <br />station project, bus advertising, and stated an evaluation of a stay-out-of-drug-area resolution <br />for Parks would take an estimated six months to complete. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall clarified the Open Public Meeting Act notice requirements to hold a <br />special meeting. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
