•
' ' II
C
Gathered Ho
Plan CheckharlieApel Numuse
ber: B2106-064, First Building Review
November 1, 2021
8. Continuing with the previous comment, calculations should be submitted for review of the
existing 2x ridge board. It appears the 2x ridge board is spanning 60 inches due to the spacing
of the bracing.
9. See Sheet S-5. Plans should provide a detail for Beam RB-3. The notes on the plans are not
clear. R106.1.1
10. See Sheet S-2 and structural calculations. Structural calculations show several beams and
supporting posts with large reactions. Calculations should be provided showing that the existing
footings are adequate for the reactions. Note that some supports are spaced close and should
be taken into consideration for example, supports for Beam RB-1, FB-2, and FB-4.
11. See Sheet S-2 and S-3. It appears that (2) shear walls are being added to the first floor. Plans
should include a footing/support below these walls.
This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and
amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made
during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit
requirements. The designers-of-record are responsible for a complete design in accordance with
the laws of the state of Washington.
If you have any questions or require additional clarification, please contact us.
Respectfully,
Rakeeb Khan
Residential Plans Examiner
(425)257-7299
rkhan@everettwa.gov
S:\RKhan\2021\B2106-064_R1.docx
O3200 Cedar Street © 425.257.8810 O everetteps@everettwa.gov
Everett, WA 98201 425.257.8857 fax everettwa.gov/permits
Page 5 of 5
