July 27, 2023 <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES DEFINED <br /> <br />Task 1 – Project Administration <br /> <br />This task aims to provide sufficient administration and management to deliver the scope of services and regularly <br />report on the progress of scope, budget, and schedule commitments. <br /> <br />Work Elements: <br />• Routine communication with the Client. <br />• Prepare monthly progress reports and invoices. <br />• Manage changes to the project's scope, budget, or schedule elements. <br /> <br />Assumptions (applies to all tasks): <br />• The level of effort for each task is limited to the amount of labor and expenses in the attached fee <br />schedule. Additional effort beyond these limits will be considered extra work. <br />• All deliverables will be submitted electronically. <br /> <br />Deliverables: <br />• Monthly progress reports and invoices <br />• Correspondence via email <br /> <br />Task 2 – Critical Area Site Assessment <br /> <br />The Consultant will identify, delineate, and document critical areas within the project areas to aid in project <br />planning and determine the potential impacts (Task 3). <br /> <br />Work Elements: <br />• Evaluate readily available information on existing natural resources maps and database information to <br />determine the potential for critical areas and/or buffers within the project area. <br />• Research if any prior critical areas reports are on file with the City of Everett or other agencies for the <br />project area and adjacent parcels. Evaluate the information and incorporate it into the critical areas <br />study if available and relevant to current reporting standards. <br />• Conduct field work and data collection work to determine, delineate, and map wetlands within the <br />project areas using hand-held GPS. <br />• Coordinate with the project surveyor to measure survey flagging and prepare a project base map. <br />• Prepare a Critical Area Report (with data forms, rating forms, and figures) to comply with local, state, <br />and federal standards. <br /> <br />Assumptions: <br />• Fieldwork will consist of preparation, mobilization, critical area delineation, data collection, and GPS <br />location of flagging. Fieldwork is budgeted to be completed within two working days by two Perteet <br />ecological staff.
