• <br /> alleys of the city of Everett, without having procured a license and license <br /> plates from the City Clerk, first having made payment to the City Treasurer on <br /> the following basis, for one year: <br /> Automobiles for hire or taxi-cabs: Weight 1500 lbs. or less, 10.00, plus <br /> 1.50 per person, of the rated carrying capacity of the vehicle. <br /> Weight 1500 lbs. or over 4110.00, plus 150 per cwt. for all excess over 1500 <br /> lbs. and 411.50 per person of the rated carrying capacity of the vehicle. <br /> The applicant shall, upon blanks provided for the purpose by the said Clerk, <br /> furnish full information concerning ownership; the number and classification of <br /> vehicles to be operated; the name, fictitious or otherwise, under which the ap- <br /> plicant intends to operate; the distinguishing color scheme, design, or dress, <br /> including any monograms or insignia intended to be used upon the vehicles; and <br /> such other information as may be deemed necessary for. proper supervision and the <br /> public good. <br /> If it shall appear from the information obtained that the applicant is a <br /> reliable and bona fide owner and has met all the requirements of this ordinance, <br /> that the name under which he is to operate and the color scheme used upon the <br /> vehicles does not conflict with others and tend to deceive the public, that the <br /> vehicles are equipped with valid licenses, and that they are properly bonded for <br /> the protection of the public as required by the motor vehicle laws of the state <br /> of Washington, a permit shall be issued. <br /> No permit shall be issued authorizing interchange of taxi-cab, for-hire car <br /> and sight-seeing car classification, but transfer of licenses to replacement in <br /> the same classification may be granted upon application; said transfer or trans- <br /> fers to replace cars in the same classification actually in service at the time <br /> application is made. All permits shall expire on :December 31st of the3 ,r in <br /> which the same are issued. <br /> Section 3. That Section 81 of Ordinance Igo. 2513, as amended by Ordinance <br /> No. 2526, of the city of Everett, be amended to read as follows, to-wit: <br /> Section 81. It shall be unlawful for any person to keep any dog more than <br /> four c4) months old in the city of Everett without procuring a license as pro- <br /> vided in this Ordinance. <br /> Section 4: That Section 82 of Ordinance No. 2513, as amended by Ordinance <br /> -2- <br />
