• alleys of the city of Everett, without having procured a license and license plates from the City Clerk, first having made payment to the City Treasurer on the following basis, for one year: Automobiles for hire or taxi-cabs: Weight 1500 lbs. or less, 10.00, plus 1.50 per person, of the rated carrying capacity of the vehicle. Weight 1500 lbs. or over 4110.00, plus 150 per cwt. for all excess over 1500 lbs. and 411.50 per person of the rated carrying capacity of the vehicle. The applicant shall, upon blanks provided for the purpose by the said Clerk, furnish full information concerning ownership; the number and classification of vehicles to be operated; the name, fictitious or otherwise, under which the ap- plicant intends to operate; the distinguishing color scheme, design, or dress, including any monograms or insignia intended to be used upon the vehicles; and such other information as may be deemed necessary for. proper supervision and the public good. If it shall appear from the information obtained that the applicant is a reliable and bona fide owner and has met all the requirements of this ordinance, that the name under which he is to operate and the color scheme used upon the vehicles does not conflict with others and tend to deceive the public, that the vehicles are equipped with valid licenses, and that they are properly bonded for the protection of the public as required by the motor vehicle laws of the state of Washington, a permit shall be issued. No permit shall be issued authorizing interchange of taxi-cab, for-hire car and sight-seeing car classification, but transfer of licenses to replacement in the same classification may be granted upon application; said transfer or trans- fers to replace cars in the same classification actually in service at the time application is made. All permits shall expire on :December 31st of the3 ,r in which the same are issued. Section 3. That Section 81 of Ordinance Igo. 2513, as amended by Ordinance No. 2526, of the city of Everett, be amended to read as follows, to-wit: Section 81. It shall be unlawful for any person to keep any dog more than four c4) months old in the city of Everett without procuring a license as pro- vided in this Ordinance. Section 4: That Section 82 of Ordinance No. 2513, as amended by Ordinance -2-
