City of Everett Point Industrial Center (EPIC) Bridge Project <br /> <br /> Page 13 of 28 <br /> <br />• This scope of work only includes the development of a draft geotechnical report. <br />Additional analysis and finalization of the geotechnical report will occur as part of a future <br />scope of work. <br /> <br />• AGENCY staff will clear the brush to provide access to the drilling locations near the <br />bridge’s eastern approach. <br /> <br />• No stormwater pilot infiltration testing will be conducted as part of this phase of the project. <br /> <br />• Relatively disturbed subsurface soil samples will be collected from the borings using the <br />Standard Penetration Test (SPT) at intervals of 2.5 feet to 25 feet. Samples will be taken at <br />5-foot intervals below 25 feet. <br /> <br />• Cores conducted through pavement will be patched with cold-patch asphalt or rapid-set <br />concrete. No hot mix asphalt pavement patches will be completed. <br /> <br />• The three wells installed as part of this investigation will be maintained throughout the <br />design and abandoned by the contractor during construction. <br /> <br />• Groundwater monitoring will be completed over a period of 12 months. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Exhibit A
