City of Everett Point Industrial Center (EPIC) Bridge Project <br /> <br /> Page 23 of 28 <br /> <br />WORK ELEMENT 8 ARCHITECTURAL AND AESTHETICS DESIGN <br /> <br />This work element is performed by LMN Architects (LMN) to provide bridge aesthetics design. <br />The architectural effort will include the following activities: <br /> <br />8.1 Project Management and Administration <br />• Monthly progress reports, and invoices <br />• Team management and coordination <br />• Meetings <br />8.2 Existing Data Research <br />• Review existing information. <br />• Collect and analyze regulatory parameters, including planning, zoning, land use <br />guidelines, accessibility guidelines. <br />• Best practices for multimodal bridge and right-of-way design <br />• Research future planned development, transportation planning, etc <br />• Analyze existing adjacent transportation networks <br />• Parks and open space analysis <br />8.3 Topographic and site study <br />• Review existing topographic information <br />8.4 3D model development based on LIDAR scan <br />• Development of a 3D digital site model <br />• Coordinate with a site survey to locate utilities, rail, etc. <br />• Produce base map and model for alternatives development <br />8.5 Planning analysis <br />• Diagram existing adjacent transportation networks- vehicular truck access, bicycle <br />facilities, sidewalks, and transit – to complement traffic studies <br />• Outline potential connections, opportunities, and challenges of the proposed bridge <br />site(s) <br />8.6 Alignment and location alternative concepts <br />• Design collaboration with the consultant team to develop alternatives for analysis <br />• Development and coordination of 3 design alternatives <br />Exhibit A
