Amendment 1 PSA with Brown and Caldwell for Port Gardner Storage Facility Project <br />Exhibit A Scope of Work <br />25 <br />Task Assumptions <br />• BC to attend subconsultant field work. <br />• Contractor will obtain all building permits, including Public Works, Demolition, Clearing and <br />Grading, Utility, Building, Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical. <br />• Contractor will pay for all building permits through the construction contract. <br />• Bid document revisions that may be required following bidding stemming for permitting authority <br />applications and approvals are not included. If required, for construction revisions made as a <br />condition of permit approvals will be funding by Phase 700 unanticipated services. <br />• Permit related specification materials will be developed under detailed design Phases 500, 600, <br />and 650. <br />Everett Responsibilities <br />• Fulfill requests for information to enable completion and submission of project permits. <br />• Prepare permit applications for Substantial Development and Shoreline permits. <br />• Prepare SEPA checklist and complete SEPA process. <br />• Facilitate communication between City Planning Departments and project permitting <br />subconsultant. <br />• Attend project permitting meetings (building departments pre-application meeting) and). <br />Meetings <br />• Permitting kick-off meeting (BC, ESA and COE Public Works). <br />• Regularly scheduled progress check-in meetings. <br />Work Products <br />• Construction Stormwater General Permit <br />• PSCAA NOC <br />• Also see Task 415. <br />Phases 500, 600, and 650 – Detailed Design <br />The detailed design of the PGSF will be done in three phases; Phase 500 – Intermediate Design, <br />Phase 600 – Final Design, and Phase 650 – Bid Documents and Services During Bidding. The key <br />outcomes for these phases will be the following: <br />• Prepare bid documents for complete construction and commissioning of the PGSF as envisaged <br />by the Engineering Report, Basis of Design Report, and Preliminary Design. <br />• Coordinate the execution of the detailed design with the City and demolition contract. <br />• Manage project resources to meet schedule milestones. <br />• Support City’s bidding process and selection of general contractor through design-bid-build <br />procurement approach. <br />The design guidelines prepared during the Basis of Design phase identified the codes and standards <br />that are the basis of each discipline’s design effort. Unless otherwise noted in the design guidelines, <br />the detailed design will be prepared based on the currently adopted versions of codes and standards <br />in place at the time this scope of work was prepared (July 2023) and the adopted design guides for <br />the Project. New code adoptions prior to completion of the design will be evaluated and may require <br />additional effort.
