PGSF WMVD Storm and Combined Sewer Design Scope of Work 08-25-2023 <br /> <br />25 of 41 <br /> <br />Category 2: Sensitive information <br />Category 2: For official use only / disclosure permissible by law. <br />milestones: <br />▪ 30% Stage Review <br />• Review the 30% Plans and Preliminary Engineer’s Estimate. Review at <br />this stage will be for areas of cost saving opportunities, <br />constructability, operability, and general clarity. <br />• One review cycle. Meet with City and BC staff to present and discuss <br />comments. <br />• Submit letter report detailing limits of the review, in the time and <br />budget available, and highlighting key areas of concern. <br />▪ 60% Stage Review <br />• Review the 60% Plans, Project Manual/Contract Provisions, and <br />Preliminary Engineer’s Estimate. Review at this stage will be for areas <br />of cost saving opportunities, constructability, operability, and general <br />clarity. <br />• One review cycle. Meet with City and BC staff to present and discuss <br />comments. <br />• Submit letter report detailing limits of the review, in the time and <br />budget available, and highlighting key areas of concern. Prepare and <br />submit Constructability Review Comments spreadsheet along with <br />red-line markup of the documents. <br />▪ 90% Stage Review <br />• Review the 90% Plans, Project Manual/Contract Provisions, and <br />Engineer’s Estimate for such things as: <br />o Areas of cost saving opportunities <br />o Constructability and operability <br />o General clarity <br />o Consistency among standard specifications, amendments, <br />and special provisions/bid items <br />o Completeness and adequacy of bidding and contracting <br />documents/forms <br />o Special Provisions for non-standard items <br />o Pay items for construction elements <br />• One review cycle. Meet with City and BC staff to present and discuss <br />comments. <br />• Submit letter report detailing limits of the review, in the time and <br />budget available, and highlighting key areas of concern. Prepare and <br />submit Constructability Review Comments spreadsheet along with <br />red-line markup of the documents. <br />Task Assumptions <br />• Constructability Review of design documents will be for constructability, for general <br />conformance with the design concept, and for contradictions and inconsistencies between <br />the various parts of the design documents. This review will not include review of the accuracy
