• <br /> beer and wine dealer , owner, manager, beer dealer, or employee in or of any beer <br /> and wine parlor, to violate any of the provisions of this ordinance , and an em- <br /> ployer or employee shall be liable and shall be punished for any violations of <br /> this ordinance . <br /> Sales to Certain Persons Prohibited <br /> Section 14. It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or give any beer <br /> and wine containing not more than 3 .2 per centum of alcohol by weight or Federal <br /> legalized beer and wine to the following persons: <br /> (a) All habitual drunkards who have been adjudged so by the order of any <br /> competent jurisdiction. <br /> (b) Persons under the age of 21 years, Indians, or parsons of unsound mind . <br /> (c) Persons to whom it is unlawful to sell beer and wine under the laws of <br /> the State of `7ashington or the U. S. of America . <br /> Minor Misrepresenting Age <br /> Section 15. It shall be unlawful for any minor person to misrepresent his <br /> age to any licensed beer and wine dealer or employee or to any person or corpora- <br /> tion authorized to sell wine and beer at wholesale or retail , for the purpose of <br /> obtaining beer and wine , or for any person to whom beer and wine dealers are for- <br /> bidden to sell or give beer and wine, or to purchase or to procure any person to <br /> purchase for him any beer and wine from any licensed dealer of the City of Everett <br /> and it shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly give or sell, or to purchase <br /> for such persons any beer and wine . <br /> Printing and Posting of Ordinance <br /> Section 16. It shall be the duty of the City Clerk to digest the provisions <br /> of this ordinance and cause same to be printed in type not smaller than 12 point, <br /> on white cards, and to furnish a copy thereof to the holders of all beer and wine <br /> licenses granted under the provisions of this ordinance, and it shall be obligatory , <br /> both on the licensed beer and wine dealers licensed under the provisions of this <br /> ordinance , to cause said digest to be placed in a conspicuous place in the licensed <br /> premises , and all licensed beer and wine dealers shall post in the licensed premises <br /> the license issued by the City Clerk under the provisions of this ordinance . <br /> Powers of Attorney and Assignment <br /> Section 17. From and after the passage of this ordinance, it shall be unlaw- <br /> ful for any licensed beer dealer to execute to another person powers of attorney, <br /> -6- <br />
