. <br /> a <br /> • <br /> ADVERTISING <br /> Section 26: It shall be unlawful for any licensed dealer to-o)q.lof.t tin <br /> . <br /> P' rya o t; r vz ;,i.� , �� , use . beer or wine as a leader or pre- <br /> mium to be given away with_ other goods, wares and merchandise , in any advertisement <br /> concerning beer or wine. <br /> PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION <br /> Section 27: Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance <br /> shall be, upon conviction thereof, punished by a fine of not less than One Hund- <br /> red ( 100.00) Dollars or more than Three Hundred ( 300 .00) Dollars or by impris- <br /> onment of not less than 30 days or more than 90 days, or by both such fine and <br /> imprisonment, and if the holder of any such beer and wine license, or any of his <br /> employees, is convicted of violating any of the provisions of this ordinance, <br /> for the first offense, in addition to the fine or imprisonment , the court shall <br /> make an order closing said place of business for 30 days, and certify the same <br /> to the Commissioner of Safety of the City of Everett , and thereupon the Commis- <br /> sioner of Safety shall direct the police officers to execute that part of the <br /> sentence closing said place of business for 30 days, and it shall be the duty of <br /> the Clerk of the Court in all cases of conviction for the violation of the pro- <br /> • visions of this ordinance where the judgment of the Court has been that the place <br /> of business be closed for any length of time, to furnish said Commissioner of <br /> Safety a copy of said order or judgment. <br /> For a second violation of any of the provisions of this ordinance, in ad- <br /> dition to the fine or imprisonment provided above, if the ordinance is violated <br /> by the holder of any license or by any of his employees, the court *hall make <br /> an order closing said place of business for 3 months, and thereupon the Ulerk of <br /> the Court shall furnish the Commissioner of Safety with a copy of said order, <br /> and the Commissioner of Safety shall proceed as upon conviction for the first <br /> violation of this ordinance. If any employee or any licensed beer and wine deal- <br /> er is convicted a second time for violating any of the provisions of this ordi- <br /> nance, the license of said employee shall be thereupon revoked, and no other li- <br /> cense shall ever again be granted to such employee in any such capacity with any <br /> such licensed beer and wine dealer. <br /> For a third violation of any such provisions of this ordinance, in addition <br /> -10- <br />
