All applications for 3.27. beer and wine or Federal legalized beer and wine li- censes shall be accompanied by a certified check on some bank in the city of Everett, payable to the City Treasurer of the City of Everett, in the account of the license fee for one year. If the license is rejected by the council, the City Clerk shall return said certified check to the applicant. Application for 3.27. beer and wine or Federal legalized beer and wine licenses or the trans- fer thereof shall be made upon blanks furnished by the City Clerk for that pur- pose, and all applications for the transfer of beer and wine or Federal legalized beer and wine licenses shall be heard only in the manner and after the giving of notice, the same as is required in the granting of the original license, and the same proceedings in the case of remonstrances shall be had . A corporation desiring a wholesale distributor or jobber's beer and wine license shall file an application in writing and said application shall be sworn to by its president , and shall have the names of said stock holders and officers, and shall state that none of its stock holders or officers have been convicted of violating the liquor laws of any City, State or County, and it shall state by street number the room where said business is to be conducted . Said ap- plication shall be accompanied by a check as is required in the case of other applications for licenses . After filing said application, the same proceedings shall be had thereon as in the case of other applications for 3.27 beer and wine or Federal legalized beer and wine licenses. If the application is approved by the Council, a license shall issue to the applicant upon his paying the license fee therefor, and giving a bond as in this Ordinance provided. WAITERS IN hEEP AND WINE PAPLORS Section 7: It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the occupation of a waiter in a beer and wine parlor or to engage in the business of waiting upon the customers, or serving any of the customers of any licensed beer and wind deal- er in the City of Everett , without first having obtained a license therefor, and it shall be unlawful for any licensed beer and wine dealer in the City of Everett to employ any waiter or other person to serve his patrons with any 3.27. beer and wine or Federal legalized beer and wine, unless the person so employed shall first obtain a license so to do . Any persons desiring to obtain a license as waiter or to wait upon and serve patrons of any licensed beer and wine dealer, where said -3.
