beer parlors are required to be closed under the provisions of this ordinance , <br /> all screens and curtains shell be removed so that any person upon the side- <br /> walk may obtain an unobstructed view of the interior of said beer and wine par- <br /> lor. -Ne--eloaecl-bo es--sbal1 be permitted in eny beer an�1 wfzce p 3.or... <br /> DkaUttk LIABILITY <br /> Section 14: It shall be unlawful for any person, whether he be a licensed <br /> beer and wine dealer, owner, manager, beer dealer, or employee , in, or of any <br /> beer and wine parlor, to violate any of the provisions of this ordinance , and <br /> an employer or employee shall be liable and shall be punished for any viola- <br /> tion of this ordinance. <br /> SALES TO CEPTAIN PERSONS PROHIBITED <br /> Sector, 15: It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or give any 3.27. <br /> beer and wine or Federal legalized beer and wine to the following persons: <br /> (a) All habitual drunkards who have been adjudged so by the order of any <br /> competent jurisdiction. <br /> (b) Persons under the age of 21 years, Indians, or persons of unsound mind. <br /> (c) Persons to whom it is unlawful to sell beer and wine under the laws <br /> of the State of Washington or the U. S. of America. <br /> • MINOR MISREPRESENTING AGE <br /> Section 16: It shall be unlawful for any minor person to misrepresent <br /> his age to any licensed beer and wine dealer or employee or to any person or <br /> corporation authorized to sell wine and beer at wholesale or retail, for the <br /> purpose of obtaining beer and wine, or for any person to whom beer and wine <br /> dealers are forbidden to sell or give beer and wine, or to purchase or to pro- <br /> cure any person to purchase for him any beer and wine from any licensed dealer <br /> of the City of Everett, and it shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly <br /> give or sell, or to purchase for such persons any beer and wine . <br /> PRINTING AND POSTING OF ORDINANCE <br /> Section 17: It shall be the duty of the City Clerk to digest the provi- <br /> sions of this ordinance and cause same to be printed in type not smaller than <br /> 12 points, on white cards, and to furnish a copy thereof to the holders of all <br /> beer and wine licenses granted under the provisions of this ordinance, and it <br /> shall be obligatory, both on the licensed beer and wine dealers licensed under <br /> the provisions of this ordinance, to cause said digest to be placed in a con- <br /> spicuous place in the licensed premises, and all licensed beer and wine dealers <br />
