New headers and king and jamb studs are required. Details <br />for the structural modifications should be provided. <br />i. Modifications to the basement laundry room have occurred. <br />j. The windows between the bedrooms and garage have been infilled. Details should be provided. <br />k. The pantry area above the stairs appears to have been built or constructed, and is related to the issues with <br />the stair construction. The work in this area should be clearly defined. <br />7. Sheets A-7 through A-9 include City of Everett checklist information. This information should not be included in the <br />drawings. This is provided to assist in the development of the drawings. The designer is responsible to provided <br />construction drawings with the appropriate framing plans, sections, details, material information, etc. for the proposed <br />work. These sheets should be removed. <br />8. The drawings do not specify the energy code requirements. Insulation is required in all existing and new framing <br />cavities. The expanded master bedroom and furring at the basement level is required to provide insulation as for new <br />construction. <br />9. Continuing with the previous comment, energy credits are required per WSEC Section R406. A schedule is required to <br />be provided, including the normalization credit.
