City of Everett 00 2113 - 5 <br />2024 WPCF Biosolids Removal UT 3826-2 <br /> <br /> <br />00 2113 - 5 INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS <br />documents, if made, will be made only by addendum duly issued. All <br />requests for interpretations must be received by the City or Engineer <br />no later than 7 calendar days prior to the bid opening date. All questions <br />regarding the Contract Documents shall be referred to the City at the address <br />provided in the Contract Documents. <br />1-02.4(1)B Prevailing Wages <br />Bidder is directed to the Contract Documents for requirements regarding <br />applying payment of prevailing wage rates for employment of labor on within <br />Snohomish County. <br />All laborers, workmen, or mechanics in each trade or occupation employed <br />in the performance of the Contract either by Contractor, Subcontractor, or <br />other person doing Work shall be paid not less than the prevailing rate of <br />wage as defined in RCW 39.12.010. Current prevailing wage rates may be <br />found online at <br />http://www.lni.wa.gov/TradesLicensing/PrevWage/WageRates/. The rules <br />and regulations noted within the Contract Documents are available from: <br />State of Washington Department of Labor and <br />Industries <br />Prevailing Wage Section <br />PO Box 44540 <br /> Olympia, WA 98504-4540 <br /> (360) 902-5335 <br /> pw1@lni.wa.gov <br />Bidders are advised to examine and to be thoroughly familiar with such <br />requirements. No claim for additional compensation will be allowed that is <br />based upon a lack of knowledge of these requirements or a failure to include <br />adequate increases in such wages over the term of this Contract in the <br />Bidder's Bid. <br />1-02.4(2) Subsurface Information <br />If the City has made subsurface investigation of the site of the proposed <br />Work, the boring log data and soil sample test data accumulated by the City <br />will be made available for inspection by the Bidders. The boring logs and <br />soil sample test data shall NOT be considered as part of the Contract. In <br />addition, the City makes no representation or warranty expressed or implied <br />that: <br />1. The Bidders’ interpretations from the boring logs are correct, <br />2. Moisture conditions and indicated water tables will not vary from <br />those found at the time the borings were made, and <br />3. The ground at the location of the borings has not been physically <br />disturbed or altered after the boring was made. <br />The City specifically makes no representations, guarantees, or warranties <br />as to the condition, materials, or proportions of the materials between the
