However, street 20 <br />closures will not be allowed on arterial streets or bus routes. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Street closures require traffic control plan approval three days prior to closure. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Closure of on-street parking will be permitted weekdays between 8 am and 3 25 <br />pm. There are no other time restrictions on parking or shoulder closures. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Contractor shall return lanes to normal operations at the end of each working 28 <br />day or provide temporary pavement markings and temporary traffic control 29 <br />devices. Tape maybe used for temporary pavement marking for a maximum of 30 <br />one week. If temporary pavement markings are used for longer than one week, 31 <br />raised pavement markers shall be used. 32 <br /> 33 <br />*** 34 <br /> 35 <br />If the Engineer determines the permitted closure hours adversely affect traffic, the 36 <br />Engineer may adjust the hours accordingly. The Engineer will notify the Contractor 37 <br />in writing of any change in the closure hours. Exceptions to these restrictions may be 38 <br />considered by the Engineer on a case-by-case basis following a written request by 39 <br />the Contractor. 40 <br /> 41 <br />Lane, ramp, shoulder, and roadway closures are not allowed on any of the following: 42 <br /> 43 <br />1. A holiday, 44 <br /> 45 <br />2. A holiday weekend; holidays that occur on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or 46 <br />Monday are considered a holiday weekend. A holiday weekend includes 47 <br />Saturday, Sunday, and the holiday. 48 <br /> 49 <br />3. After *** 2:30 P.M. *** on the day prior to a holiday or holiday weekend, and 50 <br /> 51 <br />4. Before *** 7:00 A.M. *** on the day after the holiday or holiday weekend. 52
