CITY OF EVERETT - CITYWIDE BICYCLE WAYFINDING <br />STATE FUND# HLP-PB21(014) <br />WO#3786 September 25, 2023 <br /> 45 <br />Contractor shall not commence with the work until the Notice to Proceed has been given 1 <br />by the Engineer. The Contractor shall commence construction activities on the project site 2 <br />within ten days of the Notice to Proceed Date, unless otherwise approved in writing. The 3 <br />Contractor shall diligently pursue the work to the physical completion date within the time 4 <br />specified in the contract. Voluntary shutdown or slowing of operations by the Contractor 5 <br />shall not relieve the Contractor of the responsibility to complete the work within the time(s) 6 <br />specified in the contract. 7 <br /> 8 <br />When shown in the Plans, the first order of work shall be the installation of high visibility 9 <br />fencing to delineate all areas for protection or restoration, as described in the Contract. 10 <br />Installation of high visibility fencing adjacent to the roadway shall occur after the placement 11 <br />of all necessary signs and traffic control devices in accordance with 1-10.1(2). Upon 12 <br />construction of the fencing, the Contractor shall request the Engineer to inspect the fence. 13 <br />No other work shall be performed on the site until the Contracting Agency has accepted 14 <br />the installation of high visibility fencing, as described in the Contract. 15 <br /> 16 <br />1-08.5.GR1 17 <br />1-08.5 Time for Completion 18 <br /> 19 <br />1-08.5.INST2.GR1 20 <br />Section 1-08.5 is supplemented with the following: 21 <br /> 22 <br />1-08.5.OPT7.FR1 23 <br />(March 13, 1995) 24 <br />This project shall be physically completed within *** forty-five (45) *** working days. 25 <br /> 26 <br /> 27 <br />1-08.9.OptionB.RTF 28 <br />1-08.9 Liquidated Damages 29 <br />(March 3, 2021 APWA GSP, Option B) 30 <br /> 31 <br />Revise the second and third paragraphs to read: 32 <br /> 33 <br />Accordingly, the Contractor agrees: 34 <br /> 35 <br />1.
