Restrooms 304 and 305 are provided with latches and closers on the doors per the schedules <br />on Sheets A620 and A621. The rooms do not appear to provide the required approach <br />clearance of 54 inches per ICC A117.1-09 Figure 404.2.3.2(f). The design should be revised. <br />See IBC Section 1101.2. <br />30. The use of the "ST/JC" Room 111 is not clear. The door does not appear to provided the <br />required maneuvering clearance per ICC A117.1-09 Figure 404.2.3.2(a). The design should be <br />revised, or clarification should be provided substantiating that the clearance does not apply. See <br />IBC Sections 1101.2 and 1103.2.2. <br />31. The corridor at the bottom of Stair B in the Level 1 Plan on Sheet A201, between Doors 10OB-1 <br />and 10013-2, appears to be part of the accessible route between the building and the exterior. <br />Doors 10OB-1 and 10OB-2 should comply with ICC A117.1-09 Figures 404.2.3.2; Door 10013-1 <br />requires a 12-inch interior clearance on the handle side due to the closer per the Hardware <br />schedule on Sheet A621. <br />32. Door Type "C" on Sheet A621 should specify a maximum 43-inch height for the vision lite per <br />ICC A117.1-09 Section 404.2.10. See IBC Section 1101.2. <br />33. The construction drawings should specify emergency communications features for the elevators <br />per IBC Section 3001.2. <br />Miscellaneous: <br />34. Laundry Rooms 133 and 205 on Sheets A201 and A202 should specify floor drains per UPC-18 <br />Section 418.3 Item 2. <br />35. Kitchen Room 110 on Sheet A201 may require the installation of a grease trap. These <br />documents have not been reviewed for the treatment of oil or grease that may enter the City of <br />Everett sewer system. Contact Industrial Pretreatment at (425)257-8240 regarding <br />pretreatment or grease removal requirements. The drawings should specify the requirement to <br />install a grease trap(s) if required. See Everett Municipal Code Chapter 14.42. <br />36. Kitchen Room 110 and Room 302 on Sheets A201 and A203, respectively, include cooking <br />appliances that will require hoods per the IMC. The "Commercial Kitchen" portion of the <br />Deferred Submittal section on Sheet G001 should list these hoods. See IBC Section 107.3.4.1. <br />37. Sheet S101 lists additional structural deferred submittals. The Deferred Submittals section on <br />Sheet G001 should include a reference to the structural drawings.
