January 10, 2024 <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />AGREEMENT – GRANT WRITING <br /> <br />To authorize the Mayor to sign the professional services agreement with Keller Partners for <br />grant writing and support. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT AMENDED - LATER PHASE ECLIPSE MILL PARK AND RIVERFRONT TRAIL <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS <br /> <br />To authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to a Professional Service Agreement with <br />KPFF Consulting Engineers to provide engineering services for the Later Phase Eclipse Mill <br />Park Project and Riverfront Trail Improvement Project at an increased amount not to exceed <br />$1,113,752. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />ACTION ITEMS: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – THORNTON A. SULLIVAN PARK CULVERT REPLACEMENT PROJECT GRANT <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Zarlingo, seconded by Council Member Rhyne, to authorize the <br />Mayor or her designee to apply for grant funding and to adopt Resolution No. 7974 that <br />designates authorized representatives to act on behalf of the City of Everett and sign all <br />necessary documents with respect to the 2025-2027 Fish Barrier Removal Board grant for the <br />Thornton A. Sullivan Park Culvert Replacement project in the amount of $358,500. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT – SETTLEMENT OF ACQUISITION OF WAITS MOTEL <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to approve the <br />Settlement Agreement for acquisition of Waits Motel. <br /> <br />The following member of the public spoke: Emily Simpson <br /> <br />Discussion ensued with staff answering Council questions. <br />
