ii) Subdivisions: The Director and City Engineer shall determine <br /> whether requirements of this Ordinance have been met. If the <br /> requirements have been met, they shall certify that the proposed <br /> final plat meets the requirements of Chapter 58.17 RCW and this <br /> Ordinance. The final plat shall then be scheduled for review by <br /> the City Council as defined by this Ordinance. <br /> e) If either the Director or the City Engineer determine that the <br /> requirements of this Ordinance have not been met, the final plat or short <br /> plat shall be returned to the applicant for modification, correction, or <br /> other action as may be required for approval, provided that the final plat <br /> shall be forwarded to the City Council together with the determinations <br /> of the Director and the City Engineer, upon written request of the <br /> applicant. <br /> f) Pursuant to the requirements of RCW 58.17.150, neither the Director <br /> nor the City Engineer shall modify the requirements made in the City's <br /> or Hearing Examiner's approval of the preliminary subdivision or short <br /> subdivision when making a decision on the final subdivision or short <br /> subdivision without the consent of the applicant, except as provided in <br /> Chapter 58.17 RCW. <br /> 2. City Approval of Final Short Subdivision: <br /> a) The Director and City Engineer, consistent with Review Process I as <br /> defined in Ordinance No. 2136-96, as amended, shall determine whether <br /> the short subdivision proposed for final short subdivision approval <br /> conforms to all terms of preliminary approval, and whether the short <br /> subdivision meets the requirements of this Ordinance, applicable State <br /> laws, and all other City ordinances which were in effect at the time of <br /> preliminary approval. <br /> b) If the conditions have been met, the City shall inscribe and execute its <br /> written approval on the face of the short plat map. If the short plat is not <br /> approved, it will be returned to the applicant with reasons for denial and <br /> conditions for compliance. <br /> 3. City Council Approval of Final Subdivision: <br /> a) At a public meeting consistent with Review Process VI as defined in <br /> Ordinance No. 2136-96, as amended, the City Council shall determine <br /> whether the subdivision proposed for final subdivision approval <br /> conforms to all terms of preliminary approval, and whether the <br /> subdivision meets the requirements of this Ordinance, applicable State <br /> laws, and all other city ordinances adopted by the City which were in <br /> effect at the time of preliminary approval. <br /> b) If the conditions have been met, the City Council shall inscribe and <br /> execute its written approval on the face of the plat map. If the City <br /> Council disapproves the plat, it will be returned to the applicant with <br /> reasons for denial and conditions for compliance. <br /> 21 <br />
