January 17, 2024 <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson provided an update on the State Legislative <br />Session. <br /> <br />She also provided an update on cold weather shelters. <br /> <br />Finance Director Susy Haugen answered questions council members had on revenue options that <br />were discussed at the last council meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall had no updates. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Bader, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 7975 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$9,088,785.08 for the period ending December 30, 2023 through January 5, 2024. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – PAYROLL CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 7976 authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the <br />amount of $6,197,193.13 for the period ending December 30, 2023. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – ELECTRONIC TRANSFER CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 7977 authorizing electronic transfer claims against the City of Everett <br />in the amount of $8,769,361.77 for the period of November 1, 2023 through November 30, <br />2023. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Fosse who was <br />excused. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
