City of Everett 00 11 13 - 2 <br />Port Gardner Storage Facility - Demolition Package WO# UP-3525 <br />00 11 13 - 2 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. <br />No Bidder may withdraw its Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, except as may be <br />provided in the Contract Documents. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award <br />as deemed in the best interest of the City. The right is reserved by the City to postpone the award <br />for a period of forty-five (45) days after bid opening. <br />The Contractor will be required to comply with all local, State, and Federal laws and regulations <br />pertaining to equal employment opportunities. <br />The City, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 <br />Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that <br />it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, <br />disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit <br />bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of <br />race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. <br />By order of the City Council, Everett, Washington. <br />Dated at Everett, Washington. <br /> OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK <br />END OF SECTION 00 11 13
