City of Everett 01 11 00 - 2 <br />Port Gardner Storage Facility – Demolition Package WO# UP-3525 <br />01 11 00 - 2 SUMMARY OF WORK <br />1.3 WORK HOURS <br />A. Contractor will be required to provide a project schedule that clearly defines <br />each phase of work and the work hours associated with each phase. <br />B. The Work site is available from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM during the work week (M-F) <br />excluding City observed holidays unless otherwise approved by the City’s <br />Project Manager. Any additional or alternate work hours will require advance <br />approval and coordination with the City’s Project Manager. <br />1.4 WORK SEQUENCE <br />A. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to coordinate and plan the construction <br />activities to integrate each schedule constraint into performance of the overall <br />Work. <br />1.5 PERMITS <br />A. Except as noted in Paragraph 1.5.B, the Contractor shall be responsible for <br />obtaining and paying all fees associated with all the necessary permits, licenses, <br />approvals, and construction permits necessary for the execution of this Contract, <br />whether they be city, county, state, or federal permits. However, the Contractor <br />may request reimbursement through Force Account for City imposed permit fees <br />paid by the Contractor directly to the City. This reimbursement does not include <br />any other Contractor costs associated with applying for, obtaining and managing <br />the permits. The Contractor's costs for applying for, maintaining contemporary <br />and valid permits, and finalizing or closing permits following the Work shall be <br />included with Mobilization and Demobilization payment item. The Contractor <br />shall provide an electronic copy of all Contractor obtained permits to Owner. <br />B. The Owner will be responsible for obtaining the following approvals and permits <br />and will pay the fees associated with the application and procurement of such <br />approvals and permits. Copies of available permits are available for review <br />upon request. <br />1. State Environmental Policy Act / SEPA <br />C. The Contractor shall comply with all conditions of each approval/permit as if the <br />conditions were detailed herein. Anticipated City required permits for the Work <br />are as follows: <br />1. City of Everett Commercial Building Permit. One permit per each separate <br />Area / Building, except where the building is completely removed to such <br />an extent that it is no longer occupiable. <br />2. City of Everett Public Works Permit for Site Work (Area 10).
