City of Everett 01 22 13 - 5 <br />Port Gardner Storage Facility - Demolition Package WO# UP-3525 <br />01 22 13 - 5 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br />h. Area 60 – Sludge Pump Building / Flotation Thickeners: complete demolition <br />of the Sludge Pump Building except the building foundation slab and <br />perimeter stem walls. This work includes structural, mechanical, and <br />electrical equipment demolition. Demolition of equipment pads. Demolition of <br />electrical room and associated equipment located on the second floor of the <br />building. Complete demolition of Flotation Thickener #1 down to foundation <br />slab and associated ground water dewatering. Tank dewatering, selective <br />structural, mechanical and electrical demolition of Flotation Thickener #2. <br />Demolition of yard piping associated with the flotation thickeners. Backfill of <br />respective areas. Installation of multiple pipe blind flanges. Demolition of <br />platforms and walkways, temporary safety fall protection as required, and <br />pressure washing. Efforts associated with sampling activities and <br />administration for treatment/disposal of liquid and solid wastes derived from <br />dewatering activities. <br />i. Area 70 – Blower Building: Complete demolition of the “North Bay” which <br />consists of a pre-engineered metal building perimeter walls, roof and <br />concrete foundation slab. Backfill of respective areas. Selective demolition of <br />structural, mechanical, and electrical equipment in building. Demolition of air <br />blower system and associated ducting and electrical equipment. Demolition <br />of equipment pads and pad repair to surrounding floor elevations. <br />Installation of a temporary safety fall protection as required and pressure <br />washing. Repair of exterior wall siding. <br />C. Item #3 – AREA 35 SECONDARY CLARIFIER EAST AND AREA 55 SECONDARY <br />CLARIFIER WEST DISBONDED TOPPING SLAB REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT <br />(Square Feet) <br />1. The unit price for inspection, removal, and repair and replacement of existing <br />topping slab for all labor, tools, equipment, materials, appurtenances, and <br />incidentals required to complete the Work. Based on initial condition assessment <br />there is total of 6500 square-feet of disbonded topping slab grout. Item includes <br />facilitating inspection by the Owner/Engineer of the topping slab and assist with <br />identification of the disbonded areas after clarifier mechanism removal. <br />D. Item #4 – PIPELINE CLEANING AND INSPECTIONS (Lump Sum) <br />1. The lump sum price for the dewatering, cleaning, and inspection of identified <br />pipes in Area 10 - Site consisting of all labor, tools, equipment, materials, <br />appurtenances, and incidentals required to complete the Work. This Work <br />includes, but is not to be limited to: <br />a. Dewatering, cleaning, inspection of identified pipes, and efforts associated <br />with sampling activities and administration for treatment/disposal of liquid <br />and solid wastes derived from pipeline cleaning activities. <br />b. Excavation and potholing activities to provide access to piping subject to <br />cleaning and inspection. Backfill of respective areas. <br />c. CCTV video inspection of identified pipelines.
