All breakers on the MSB should be isolated downstream when possible and insulation resistance performed. • All breakers on MSB should be operated and visually inspected A heightened attention to detail should be applied when evaluating the existing conditions. Opportunities to look for include, but are not limited to: • Cables routed behind or near panel cover screw entry points. • Re-route or safely secure cables out of the way. • Panel cover is not safely latched. • Cable bend radius • Any sharp edges found within the interior of the panel or cover that is in proximity or direct contact • with cabling. • Apply edging to any sharp edges found. • Incorrect and /or missing hardware within the bus system. • Replace missing or incorrect hardware as needed. • Validate if there is a barrier between the main breaker section and the distribution section. • Install sheet of G-10 Glastic if feasible • Tools left within gear(i.e screwdriver). • Visual Inspection of Grounding • Visual inspection of the Neutral bonding Any opportunities found within a panel that are deemed unsafe should be corrected during the PM when possible. The planned, standard shutdown is expected to not exceed 12-14 hours, unless otherwise altered prior to start of site planning meetings. Each site should be carefully evaluated prior to the shutdown to ensure it is staffed properly and any planned maintenance does not exceed the 12-14-hour window. If any life-safety concerns are identified within the gear during the outage, every effort to remedy before completion should be explored, even if 12-14-hour timeframe will be exceeded. Amazon and VEEC POCs are to be notified immediately so appropriate considerations can be made. 2.2 PM - Comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Strategy • Verify equipment nameplate. • Record incoming system voltages for all three phases. • Record amperages at main circuit breaker for all three phases and neutral. • Remove, inspect, and replace covers. • Inspect condition—mechanical, electrical, physical. • Inspect Grounding System • Inspect torque of connections and terminations. [on steel bolted connections] • Inspect installation—anchorage, clearances, alignment. • Exercise active components as applicable. • Inspect mechanical indicators—operation and indication. • Clean interior and exterior of equipment. • Apply lubrication as appropriate. • Conduct minor repairs as needed. 14Pag
